HAHA... you wouldn't recommend APP764's but you are hoping that the MOTORCRAFT plugs work for EVERYONE as well as they do for you?
THAT is funny.
The APP764 is THE number one recommended plug for this system, in this car. (NOT TO MENTION IDENTICAL to the Motorcrafts in your car now) Your plugs MAY HAVE been causing a misfire, but they may have just been OLD.. even GREAT plugs are crap when they are old.
the same way that NEW plugs that are CRAP will work GREAT at first. (Bosch +4's, in general) Perhaps the reason those new motorcrafts work so well is because you simply needed new plugs.
Oh, and no offense on the caps, I was just pointing it out, was all.
