You are going to love that exhaust. It makes the Contour sound pretty mean.

Im still curious as to what the trubendz+magnaflow sounds like IN PERSON. audio clips arent a good representation in my opinion. Can you describe the sound. There is a fine line btw sounding good and sounding mean. Does this muffler make it sound like a wana be mustang or try to make it sound like a V8 a la flowmaster/mustang setup? FM sounds good on stangs but I'm not looking for that sound on my CSVT. Can you explain the note?

I am contemplating the Trubenz w/ either Borla or magnaflow. The borla is supposed to sound like a meaner stock sound. Basically a more intense hum, which sounds good b/c I like the stock sound.

Well, it won't sound like a Mustang but it does have a pretty unique sound. The Magnaflows have a rougher note than the Borlas and sound more aggressive. If you listen to my sound clip it has a nice, deep agressive sound on startup. At idle it sounds a lot deeper than my uncle's Mustang with a Flowmaster catback and MAC Prochamber just not as loud.

In the higher rpm ranges it sounds like stock except louder and deeper. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it so I guess it sounds good from the outside. The only way you can make the Contour sound meaner like pissed off, is adding headers and a y-pipe. The Mustang has an almost perfect exhaust note that is almost impossible to recreate owing to its engine and exhaust layout.
