Yeah... be careful disassembling disposable cameras. I did it just cause I wanted to mess around with the flash.
I got shocked pretty bad when I accidentally touched the board. Then I started playing around with it and used a key to discharge the capacitor. Makes a REALLY loud spark noise and is cool as hell. Not too long after that we were learning about airfield lighting and you use a shorting stick that's like 5 feet long to discarge the capacitors that operate the flashers. I don't know the farad rating, but I know the lights themselves operate on 2000VDC.
