Go to the main index. Click on any old forum ("General" for example). Scroll to the bottom of that page - near the bottom left you'll see this.
Programs may show different features between OSes (Word 2003 versus Word 2001 for Mac, for example) but webpages don't look any different. A browser is a browser.

98SE, Looks like this hit the nail on the head. This also explains one other abnormality I was tempted to ask about. Previously, I beleive I mentioned that I set my preferences to display 20 or 25 topics. Many sections I'd go, only show half dozen(+/-). That and the page numbers I was looking for is based on how many days, weeks, months, etc you have that subject set to go back to.
Issue closed.
Thanks again for all the info and suggestions. This is a great board. Dale

Whoa! that's cool. Noticed that in the Audio forum is set to all posts, here it's set to "active in the last 2 days". Learn something new all the time!
Oh... what I was talkin about, they could have a browser detection script that transfers ya to a differently formatted page for easiar viewing/compatibility... but that's pretty complex and makes ya have a ton of pages. After I get real bored I'll end up playing with something like this on my websites.
