In my opinion (take it as you wish ) I'd swap a 3 liter engine into my car before I'd swap the internals (or all) of an SVT 2.5L Duratec.
Did the throttle body change make any improvement?

Yes, the throttle body swap definately opens better and my car pulls a bit harder. Though, the Cold Air Intake and Exhaust may have a bit to do with how -much- of a pull that my car gained in power, where perhaps it wouldn't be as much of a pull if the rest were stock. Anyone wanna chime in?
Anyway, post up some pics of the car when you get the chance!

WOW pre98 We have the same car!!!! I have a 95 Tour v6 five speed (midnight red also) I love the color! I thought mine was in good shape but yours in flawless!! I need a midnight red drivers side power mirror! (mines cracked) Also could use a midnight red passenger side rear door but have no place to find one! :-( Here is why i parked my car at Giant Eagle's parking lot (far away as usual so nothing would happen to my car, expecially because of the snow storm even tho my G/F hates it) and guess what......... get back to my car and rear pasenger side door has a nice 5 inch scratch and its even pushed in slightly and a small ping ding! Its not to bad now because of touch paint but i would love to find a new door. Do you have tan leather in your car too? Wish we had tilt wheel tho you know?! Your exhaust looks sweet. I wish i went dual instead of single but mine still sounds awsome. I removed the resonator, used 2.25 tubing and have a magnaflow 4"x9" muffler and it sounds great with a kkm intake. NICE CAR THO!!!!
Midnight Red 95 Contour SE 5 speed, fully loaded. kkm M.A.F. adapter w/ K&N ru-3530, single Magnaflow muffler w/ no res. 2.25" custom catback exhaust, grafite painted stock 95 SE rims on bfgoodrich touring T/A's, 35% window tint around.

Actually i belive if you throw in 19lb injectors and take it to ford they will reprogram your keys and the computer will work . " I think " Don't expect a free powdercaot if i'm wrong !!

...or you could just get your PCM (PATS/keys) flashed to an SVT code.
...or even smarter still you could just get a custom chip which is infinitely better anyway.
