So do I though I own neither.

I have shot & cleaned many versions of both and the Ruger's have always seemed like a much better built weapon. They definitely win the durability test IMO.


I own a Beretta .40 Model 96.

It is a very accurate model and the price was decent for a nice quality gun. I've had it for 11 years and bought it for protection when I was stationed in Southern New Mexico.

I take it out about once a year to stay proficient. No sense owning a weapon you are not capable of handling correctly.

The wife always comes with me to stay proficient as well. She shot double marksman in the Military even. (pistol & rifle)
I only had the cert on the rifle and shot marksman as well.
