I prefer Ruger to Glock myself. I've got a P97D:

I love it. It's a .45 though. I shoot left handed, so I love the Decock lever. And to answer questions about why I need to own a firearm....because I can. I grew up around guns (hunting, not gangs) and have a very healty respect for them.
