Well I was talking with my father and we decided to go out and look at getting me a pistol...I have a .22 ruger and a 4-10 shotgun. I was looking at getting a Glock or a PPK but my father told me those are not really that good of a pistol so he told me to get a Ruger pistol... I have it narrowed down to a 9MM and here are the choices...

or

If you guys have any advice on getting my first handgun please let me know.
THanks
I forgot to add its not for show or anything just that my dad and I like to go out on nice days shooting guns..so I want something accurate

I really don't see the point in owning one at all.

Probably why I never will.

But hey, it's your life so live it.

P-89 all the way. I have one and have yet to have a misfire or malfunction. Also, you can get 9mm ammo dirt cheap for when you want to go out and waste ammo. While you are buying any ruger, you MUST buy a hogue grip for it and get it on the gun. The stock grips suck, but the Hogue grips are oh so nice.

Thats whats so beautiful about this country, there doesn't have to be "a point."

But stuff like this can also lead to incidents such as Columbine, i know anyone in my highschool could walkin with some guns and no one would be the wiser. Kinda frightening to think about sometimes.

No, psychotic kids lead to Columbine. It's the people, not the weapons.

I'd rather have a Mirko Splitter and have it painted, or a trubendz exhaust, than a gun. I mean, why do you want a handgun. what good is it for? IMO
