I got a set of Boston Acoustics BA745 Amplified speakers. The BA745 speakers sound good(better than I thought computer speakers would sound).
Some people have told me that Boston Acoustic BA745 speakers require a special digital sound card. I think all computers are digital. I don't think my 4 year old HP computer has a special sound card. Are they right when they say Boston Acoustic BA745 speakers require a special sound card?
What Computer speakers do you like?

I can't say much on the speaker part, But if you get a new sound card always stick with Turtle Beach "satna cruz"

I have a set of Logitech Z-680s. I dig them. They'll rock harder than your grandaddy and that's always good.

Dont not laugh..yet
Durabrand 8 speaker set with Sub. Only cost me $51.88 at Wal-Mart. Rigged a headphone jack into 2 RCA cables...best computer sound system on earth (that I could afford for under $60.00) Its nice to hear footsteps literally behind you and you whip around to axe the guy..
Commence laughing.

I use Creative Inspire 6600 6.1 Surround speakers. Best ones I have owned yet. Of course there are many much higher than that but I love them. They pump out 120 watts total. Payed just over $100 at the time they were a new model. Creative Inspire 6600 6.1
