You put a rather broad blanket over everyone here. To begin with, young has nothing to do with it. I am a young professional (30 years old), but I have already served as an officer in the US Marines, and I own multiple businesses of my own now that I am back in the civilian world.

No-one, not even trained soldiers such as myself, love war. Do you think I seriously WANT to see my friends and loved ones go off to war? Hell no. But, do I support them when I feel the need is great, or our freedoms are in peril? Hell yes.

I'd wager a months salary that I am a MORE informed American than you. I read no less than 10 different papers a day, and I follow hundreds of news sites weekly. (Left and Right-wing American news, plus multiple foreign news agencies. Ah the benefits of being multi-lingual.) This was all left over from my intel days, when we spent hours every day gathering information from our sources. I cannot live without my quest for knowledge, and I base my opinions on the facts available. I am by no means a puppet for anybody, nor was I during my service to this country.

The problem I have with people like you stems from your blatant overgeneralizations of an entire political belief. Now my question to you, have you ever served in the Military, or your country in any fashion? What have YOU done to deserve the very freedoms that you enjoy daily, besides [censored] when the real men take on the fight to protect your freedoms?

Being against war does NOT EQUATE to being against the troops (though the Right wingers Love to imply same)..
They are doing their jobs, which is what they signed up for (I just wish they weren't there in harms way for Dubious Reasons).........

I was born an American, just like you and thats all you need to do for your freedom. You don't have to be in the services to be patriotic or a "real man" ( get over that Macho Pyschotic Crap) You Joined the military for your own reasons and I don't question them. Don't try to shame the civilians for not always supporting the people who create conflicts and put you and the rest of our guys at risk. Funny ,I thought that was what all this fighting was for,FREEDOM.......

I agree, we all have our opinions and we'll have this discussion again. I was just being honest about politics with the Dem comment and tax cuts (primaily for the wealthy) aren't everything. Besides (fed taxes go down/State and local go up, gotta pay on way or another)

BTW my brother who has 2 kids and makes less than $40,000 a year loves the "tax cuts" and he gets no benefits from them??????
