I didn't get much out of the tax cuts either, but I still think they're the greatest domestic achievements of the Bush Administration (I guess that's not saying too much, but whatever).
I don't judge a government policy or program based on what I'm going to get out of it. I look at what it does for the health of our republic. Tax cuts like the Bush Administration has given us are great for our country.
A liberal icon once said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". I wonder what happened to this idea in the minds of the left.
