Bull. The minorities have been voting for the Dems for decades. They are little better off now than in the 1950s, less so if you ask me - despite the Dems being in political control for the vast majority of those decades. The folks back where I grew up have been voting for Dems all their lives. They've been poor all their lives. They'll stay poor as long as they elect to be in the hand out line rather than take a hand up. The #1 lesson we were tought on career guidance day in high school - G.O.O.T. = Get Out Of Town!

I have a blind wife, and we struggled to make ends meet. I never got any benefit from the government, except one time (more in a sec on that). There were two times when I got my head above water & my standard of living actually seemed to get better and I felt in control of my own destiny.

1. The Regan tax cuts
2. The GW tax cuts

Both times I took advantage of the opportunity to better my situation & I now expect to retire or die with enough to support my wife for however long we/she are/is around. I'm not rich by any stretch of the imagination, but I've made some good choices to secure my future.

Only time I actually got some benefit from government was when Slick Willie brought back free imunizations. I don't know why that was ever stopped in the first place. The most basic of health care for our most powerless of citizens... Shame on whoever cut it.

Think for yourself, my friend. You've been spending too much time on the lefty blogs.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
