My European experience is limited, but I plan to travel more as soon as grad school is done (in 2 weeks!!!!)
Ireland - Been twice, love it. Want to buy a house there and rent it until I can retire there permanently. Seen most of the whole country.
UK - London is huge and driving through the countryside was so fun. Also went to Lancaster, Liverpool, and Windsor on the same trip.
St. Petersburg, Russia - Just got back a few weeks ago. amazing trip and GORGEOUS women. Have to go back when it's warmer out.
Frankfurt - Well, only the airport, on a stop-over to Russia
We plan to go to either Spain, Italy or Greece in the next 10 months.
For Sale:
- Sony PSP with a Baseball 2k6 and the movie Crash. $100
- 1973 Karmann Ghia Convertible w/ Auto-Stick. Needs Restoration. $1200 OBO

Visit Greece and you'll think the Italians are seasoned pros that insurance companies would chase after to gain their patronage.
I do have issues with Naples in Italy, though; any society that allows motorcycle and scooter drivers to invade the sidewalks and continue on their way when the traffic lights turn red scares the Hell out of me and has me questioning local sanity.

Bite your tongue! If it's fun you're looking for, Madrid all the way, then Majorca.
Barcelona has some nice clubs, but outside some EXCELLENT Italian eateries around the Gothic Quarter, Gaudi and the Olymic Park, I wasn't impressed.
For excitement, Madrid is the next best thing to doing a line of cocaine with your hair on fire; there are few cities I like better to prowl the dance clubs, coffee shops, flamenco bars, etc. The wife and I turn into vampires on the weekends in Madrid; dinner at 10PM, clubs at midnight and turn in around 4-5AM then sleep until noon.
Majorca? It speaks for itself.
