whats up everyone...? i just wanted to make a quick post stating that i joined the US Army and i leave for my training this thursday...i will be located at Fort Jackson in SC. my contour was involved in a slight accident a few weeks ago, but i have an ins. check on the way from the lady that hit me(full story on FCO if anyone wants to read it) but it is more than the blue book value....let's just say when i get back the car will be fixed and i actuallly got the ins. guy to pay for a new SVT bumper and to have it molded to my SE bumper so i can have a full urethane SVT front bumper....i was quoted $1800 in labor alone not including the bumer costs for the bumper alone!!!...and my rear drivers rim was damaged and they don't make these anymore, nor does anyone have any in stock, so i am getting $180 x 4 for that plus the body work and paint....i really made out on this deal. the car is sitting happily damaged for the time being in a heated warehouse and when i get back, i most likely will not be in ohio (i have been waiting to get out of here for a long time) but i will come back and see how everyone is doing....i am not sure how may times i will have to check this forum before i leave but i just wanted to say that everyone i have met has been super cool and i just can't wait to see what has been done to these cars in the next 6 months or so....i am out for now and i will be back periodically to check on things. 10-4 out.
