my SVT has lost alot of low end power.... it sounds alot like a old v-8 that needs to be choked. but after about 3 grand it pulls like mad. so i think its just running lean. i have done a few mods... 2.5inch truebendz exh. bat Y-pipe, underdrive pully, true rev intake... is this enought to make it run lean or should i be looking for a different problem? and oh yeah my clutch is bad... just another thing you should know about, but i don't think thats a factor

thanks

I think it's your secondaries. Usually it's the other way around: no power on the high end. Somehow yours are stuck open.

Did you remember to reset the pcm after modding? Its a little detail that can easily be over looked! All you need to do is disconnect the battery for a few mins and you should be golden!

If you haven't done it lately, you should clean the throttle body, do an intake manifold cleaning (using chemicals through the intake without removing the intake manifold), and add a bottle of high quality injector cleaner to the fuel tank.

I do the throttle body and injector clean at least every 15,000 miles and the intake manifold cleaning about every 30,000 miles. It ALWAYS makes a very noticable difference in how the car runs.

This might solve your problem and really should be done as maintenance anyway.
