i dunno what custom shops are lik ein your neck of the woods, but when my car was repainted last year a regular old body shop had all said hardware removed from the car for paint.

It looks nice, and i honestly forgot to mention that, but it's not the best paint job i've seen before either.

Don't get your panties in a bunch cause you posted pics on a public forum, looking for opininons and didn't get the ones you want.

A fair job what the hell are you talking about this is way better then a fair job the pictures dont show it very good this is all done with high quality paint and is done to the same standards as any other custom shop around. So I am not sure what the hell you are talking about when you say a fair job

You know all I have to say is screw this site, all I did was post some pics of the contour that I am doing and all I get is you should do this you should do that. How many cars have all you guys redone to call yourself experts let me tell you I have done way more then most of you I would bet

i could see removing the hardware....but why in the world would you need to remove the bumpers...totally unnecessary step...my brothers friend is the best painter in this area, and he also doesn't remove bumpers, been painting for over 20 yrs.,and commands nothing less than about $6k for a paint job...has even done several $20k plus paint jobs...

Don't take it to heart, man. Most of them are jealous. I find it pathetic when people bash on another persons style... that is who you are, not me or anyone else. I personally think it is AMAZING!!

AS for painting, bumpers should stay on. HArware can stay on, as long as you are good at what you do.

Can't wait to see some pcis in teh sunlight. What color red is that??

I've been thinking about painting a large part of my car black( similar to Normich98) but folowing the lines of the csvt a bit more.... just thinking.

Wow that must be nice to be able to paint your ride like that. I wish I was able to paint my car because I'd do it in a heartbeat. Just dont have the $3000 to have someone do it.

im hardly jealous, and i'm not ragging on the car.

however, i would insist said hardware come off...especially for a color change...and double especially for $6k! That's it. No insults, no trash talking here.
