What's up with the racing stripes? HISTORY!
Take a look at old Dodge racers.
Take a look at old Shelby cars.
Those stripes have a long lineage and you are
going to keep seeing them. The Viper GTS has
really borrowed a lot from the old Shelby GT
cars (especially in rear profile) and it is
likely the next-gen GTS-R will keep the look
alive and well.
You may have noticed the stripes on the GT500
in "Gone in 60 seconds" too. I think a Saleen
done up in those colours would look killer,
and be a nice tip of the hat.
