FWD cars DO NOT make good drag cars.
The suspension/drivetrain setup of FWD drag cars cost more than most people on this site has invested into their Contour.
Its not about being a nay-sayer, its about relaying realistic information.
Newbies come on looking to compete with Hondas.
We have 1/4 the amount of performance parts available.
Most of which are not bolt-ons.
And we outweigh them by 500 lbs. so we basicly start 50HP in the whole.
I have no problem with people looking to explore new paths.
Another reason a 10 second Contour isn't going to happen, axels.
