LMAO, that's the best - being unsupervised in a junkyard.

Hell yeah, I wish I could do that. Of course I can get discounts from the junkyard here.

Sounds just about like my recent episode, only when it quit, it was after coming off th ehyway and passing through town. Perhaps I still don't know the damage done to crank, pistons, bearings, etc, but I got new heag gasket, intake and exhaust gaskets, had the head shaved (12 bux locally) all totalled I stuck in just about $200. (Including T Belt, antifreeze, pio and oil filter. I have about 200 miles on since 1:45am Sunday morning and my 86 Contour is running like new. (Still have recurrent CEL, but that was there before and after the HG going out.)

Good luck,
Dale

86 Contour?
I think he meant 96.
Don't worry Dale, I have problems with the number buttons on top like a lot of people (if those were the ones you were using).

Check out the time I posted. A bit of insomnia last night, I only slept .5-1 hour. I went to bed after that post and got up at 6:30 and went to work.

You are correct. 96 Contour.
