i really don't think its area 51 because the goverment has there nose so far up every body's but that it would deffinitly be down already
but if it is area 51 it was only a matter time

Just something to note, the US Capital building in D.C. is blured/pixelated intentionally on Google Maps.

Just something to note, the US Capital building in D.C. is blured/pixelated intentionally on Google Maps.
And the roof of the white house is smoothed over so you can't see detail.

There are MUCH better public domain pics of area 51 out there at ###.org from just about every public satelite up there, I won't go right out and give there address but just google for "overhead groom lake area 51" They have 1 meter ikonos and usgs imagery of the facility.
I'm sure they don't like the fact that people know where area 51 is, but it's location is known and has been known for years so I'm sure they've adapted by now...

I would guess they get told when pictures will be taken and move anything of intrest out of site.

This satellite this is pretty sweet. So far I've located a bunch of military bases including a fighter base around Langley, VA. Then I went to Norfolk Naval yards and I'm looking at the dozens of navy ships sitting around including carries and subs. This thing is pretty sweet.
