scroll due north & see the ground zero setup they got. Huge concentric rings in a dry lake bed.
to the SW of the lake bed at the interface with the foothills is a big crater - former underground test site perhaps?

Maybe you're right... If it's an old test site, maybe it's an unmaintained airstrip they either forgot about or don't care to mention.
I wonder what they do if it's unmaintained. Like the runway here hasn't been maintained since the mid 90s. Yep... I'm at an Air Force base without any planes
