It's a reminder for me . I can't remember how many hours I spent try to compensate or uncompensate that exhaust cam. It too blew my mind and I hated my car at the time cause I was so close. Now it's all good, and again great to have another knowledgable guy here.



Dang, I did the same thing, it was like my first big mechanic undertaking and I was sorta nervous about getting things right.
So when my exhaust cam was slighty out, i adjusted it, rotated everything 360 to make sure all was right and it was right back to where it had been!

I was even going to try to loosen the cam pulley and adjust it like mentioned in the haynes, but I couldn't get the cam bolt loose. I just figured to heck with it, that's the way it was and that's the way it was gonna stay.

I wish I'd have known about it before though, would've saved me some confused frustration At least I know I'm not the only one who had this problem.
