OK. I am getting a custom 2.5 to 2x2.25 exhaust built with
Gutted pre-cats, Optimized-jethot-coated y-pipe, hiflo cat., hi flo res, into 2 magnaflow mufflers.

Anyone have a good estimate as to what my HP gains will be?

Any input would be appreciated.

Between 1 & 10.

Most of it from the Y-pipe if it's done well.
Very little from the cat-back if using crush bent piping. (i.e. what a exhaust shop would build)

You'd get better gains optimizing the SVT exhaust then replacing it with POS crush bent piping. That's the truth!

It will be the sound you will notice more than the power. Demon brings up a good point about the pipe bending, last system I did I ordered mandrel bent sections from a local speed shop and welded it all up.

lol Demon, not trying to rag on you but do you have a fetish with crush bent systems? I personally don't know many people that would be into this type of car(SVT)/modding that would not know that crushed bent piping is horrible for flow. So when i see people talk about a custom system, i assume they are speaking about using manderal bends so flow is same all the way through the turns. Just saying this because both posts i made in past few days, even the first one when i said in my post i was using manderal bends, you automatically jumped on the crush bent piping issue. Common, give a guy some common sense about aftermarket modding.
