WARNING! THIS IS A LONG POST!

Okay, so let's cut right to the chase. We all know that a majority of this website is a grade A+ car detailer and stands by NXT/Meguiar's stuff like those of us fortunate enough to drink stand by our good friends Jack and Jim.

I finally had enough of all this f'ing pollen all over the cars around here and the weather was pretty nice the past few days, so I broke down and acquired some NXT car wash, wax and tire shine after being separated from a certain $20 bill of mine. I figure if CEG trusts it, then it's worth a try. The worst that could happen is the chit turns my paint bright pink and the rims magically sprout VW Beetle-like flower pedals. That would be fun for the chicks, now that I think of it.

Anyway, these are the results after going at it for 3 hours with my father's car, the Kia Optima. A majority of these pictures were at night, and the batteries started dying on me so the shutter speed was terrible. It's an otherwise great camera, one of the original Canon Rebels. I tried gathering some better pictures than the normal "I took these in my driveway" type deals, so after I blistered my hands in the name of shiny metal, I traveled our great city of Savannah, GA in order to find some nice photo props. Without further ado:

Just after wash:

These are all the night pictures. It's unfortunate that the flash and camera started to die on me, because I think some of these would have turned out as excellent backgrounds. Of course, not that CEG has any respect for a Kia or two.

The Science Center at Armstrong Atlantic State University:

Let's see yer CSVTs leave these without popping a differential! This car may not be a handler, but it can do a nice burnout! No, those aren't handbrake marks either.

Some of you might remember my awesome ZX2 ( ) at the waterfalls during the day:

Well, I think it's an even more incredible sight to see at night:

The rest of these are just random pics to try and show off some shine:

Well, the camera really doesn't do the results any justice whatsoever but I was really impressed by the NXT wax. Everybody on CEG that hasn't tried it yet and likes good looking, fresh detailed cars should really give it a shot. I think it will turn some serious miracles on paint, except for Chad's car cuz nothing can touch his CSVT since it has an invisible power forcefield around it at all times. So I decided to tackle the mass acerage of sheetmetal that is my daily loser cruiser. These are the results, featured in daylight on the Sedona minivan:

At the park:

Lastly, my girlfriend left her car with me this morning so it didn't have to camp out overnight at the local highschool parking lot while she went on her class graduation trip to Disney World (so much for gettin' laid ). She said they have an off-duty cop that will be staying there, but I wouldn't trust them with a skateboard, let alone a parking lot of student cars. I was bored with my time this morning and figured that her car could use a good cleaning, since the last time it saw soap was probably around the time the first CSVTs left Kansas City. She has a little sister that loves to leave trash everywhere and write her boyfriend's name on the windows in the morning dew so her car was in bad shape when she dropped it off this morning. I will not be seen driving a dirty car whatsoever, so her car, the Hyundai Accent, was third to fall prey to my waxing wrath. I still hate the pastel green color (though it is metallic), the lack of power anything, and the anemic 1.5L/92 hp engine. Things are only made worse because it's attached to an ATX, so I'd imagine this car would have trouble matching the dyno of a Craftsman lawnmower. Don't ask about the paint on the front bumper, or lack thereof. She went through a drive thru carwash with the hard brushes and it was painted, but by the time she reached the other side, she had the world's first "carbon fiber" Hyundai front bumper. to Korean paint quality 8 years ago.

Anyway, these are the results of NXT on the Accent:

I prefer my minivan to her car because:
-it's faster than a 12 year old on rollerblades.
-it has power windows/locks/mirrors.
-it doesn't bounce all over the place on the highway.
-the seats fold...
-...making enough room for a nice orgy.

But I guess I can appreciate her car after blessing it with the NXT wand. Well, at least until she gets back.

Anyway, this is just proof that this stuff WORKS!

And a penny to everyone that read all this mind-numbing drivel.
