He said that he doesn't feel pressure in one of the hoses. He told that the cooling fans run. I had replaced my radiator cap with one at a junkyard, but then I decided to get a brand new one today for $8 dollars. I am gonna get the car pressure tested on Monday or Tuesday to see if there's a leak. Then I'm gonna do a full coolant flush. Tisby Veteran CEG\'er T Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 980 SBN	I just flushed mine last week and replaced the t-stat & gasket. T-stat was $8 & I think the gasket was $4. You want to replace the gasket whenever you replace the thermostat simply as a peace of mind thing. Ho yea, and you might want to use a 180 degree t-stat instead of the 192. Doesn't make a difference other than just a tad bit more power that you prolly won't even notice. And it doesn't change the price either... 2000 Mystique LS Duratec 2.5L MTX

They won't give you the wrong part. If you're nervous about getting the wrong parts, just post the part #s in this thread and somebody will tell you if they're the right ones or not... I used Prestone 50/50 premixed coolant. I followed your ideas on this problem and it worked. Thanks!
