Are you sure they'd swap out? I bought a early 95-96 contour manifold off ebay a while back and there were enough differences that I wouldn't use it. I bought it hoping the return fuel rail would be usable on mine, but it wasn't. If I remember correctly, there was no way to bolt a new style returnless at all. It had totally different in's and out's for the fuel lines. It also had the EGR stuff.
I'm also not sure if our throttle body's have the same bolt pattern. Do they? If not, that's gonna be a tough to fix.
I do feel that 98-2000 manifolds would work and be the same as the 2000 Focus manifold, though again, I'm not sure about the throttle body. I'll ask my dad if he'd be willing to take off his throttle body next time he's at the shop and see if they will match up with my old engine's TB. If it does, might put that old mani for sale.
EDIT: Were you talking about swapping or just using what you had instead of getting another? If it was just using what we have, yeah you're right, just port the stocker. At least up to 2000 year model would be the same as the Focus, not sure 2001 and above.
