Those are very good tips but what do you for chips in the paint done by rocks or what not how do you cover those up, besides painting the whole darn thing

I know it gets no respect, and nobody here ever mentions it, but my SVT seems to just LOVE the Mother's waxes and spray detailer.
One coat of wax, followed by detailing spray and a nice chamois buff, and the thing just gleams. I clayed my paint once when I got the car, and never since -- so this may be part of it -- but the finish I get with these two (apparently lowly) products blows me away.
Last time I drove it home that clean, I saw a dude in a Boxster literally leaning out of his car to check out the gleaming SVT!

I personally use the Zymol Cleaner Wax. I am going to put Zaino through a test though, and you'll be able to see the results at Spring Zing 2001.
I will be doing half the car with Zymol, half with Zaino. Meguiar's quick detailer on the Zymol part, Zaino's spray on their part. We'll see if anybody can tell which is which.

I've seen a friend put Zaino on his car, and it looked incredible. With all the stuff they got, be prepared to spend $100, but I can guarantee you, you WILL get the BEST results. www.zainobros.com But if I don't have Zaino, I use Zymol. John

jeez, after reading this, and the zaino site (I have been hearing awesome things about this stuff for a long time) I really want to go out and wash my car, unfortunately, temps in the teens aren't too conducive to washing and waxing the car.
It's all about balance.

JohnWow, look at this crazy post. Look at what has changed; JVT and Antonio would probably use nothing bu Zaino now. I am sure there are others, but those are just the 2 that stick out in my memory.
