Are you talking about the old gasket around the oil filter?
Why would that stay on he car?

I've had Zero problems after my oil change. If anything the car feels better and idles better. Then again that could just be my over focus on the car?

I got the mobile1 that says will last 15K. I'm just not sure I should trust it that long. Is there an oil tester kit I can buy with strips to keep on hand every 5K miles?

That oil sure did cost alot of money, but my feeling is that the car seems to be running better and it's still cheaper than superlube.
