SO you won't complain if I take a dump in your room at SZ!

You could spray me down with a skunk and I wouldn't know. We'll be driving down the road and everybody starts freaking out, and I never smell a thing.

Smoked since i was 14 and i'm now 27. At one point i was upto almost 2 packs a day. Decided i would quit not only for myself but for my fiance and sons sake. I have been smoke free since the 3rd of jan and i'm loving every minute of it. It really feels good to have the taste and smell back.

my mom smoked for about 20 years(early teens to early 30's) rather heavily and quit when the dr told her that my younger brothers cough(then a baby) might be because of her smoking. with that possibility she quit immediately although she says the desire has never gone away. twenty some years later and still no smoking.

Ten years later, my mom still sniffs my dad's clothes when he comes home from the bar.

unless she's sniffing for some other broad, thats really bad

to put a real buzzkill to this post...my dad smoked for yrs and yrs...he never told me when he started, but he smoked from either his teens or early 20's until he was 42 and then quit as his new yr's resolution...i was impressed with his willpower...he subbed in peppermints and wrigley's instead (mom told me yrs later that he quit because the dr. found a spot on his lung)

anyway, 3 weeks before his 66th bday (on the nite of 9-11-01) he died of lung cancer...24yrs after giving up the kools

I smoked very rarely around age 18, but picked it up heavily from 19-20. I had to quit cold-turkey going into USMC boot camp. I was proud of myself and said that was it - no more!

But the night before we graduated we pulled a prank on the duty D.I. We thought it would be funny to blockade him into his office with seabags, and then yell out the greeting our firewatch used if the Officer of the Day came on deck.

You could hear him "thud" against the seabags, and then he went all kinds of crazy.

His revenge was walking around the squadbay for about an hour smoking and blowing it all over us, telling us how good it was and how we couldn't get our hands on one for another 12 hours or so.

I may not have been able to stay smoke-free, but that didn't help me any

Started smoking when I was about 15. By 16 I was about a pack a day. 17-24 definately a pack a day. Quit cold-turkey last August. Haven't had one since. Also quit drinking when I was 21. Haven't had a drink since 03/06/02. I am pretty fortunate.
