I seem to remember a few times cruising around and having to wait up for you. This obviously wasn't due to my car being any quicker, just because you wouldn't go above 45mph. Jim will vouch for me, that time he was riding with me, and Scott with you. We were going out south on clinton to do a kick down from 3rd. This was right after I had broken in my hybrid. Ahha now it's coming back to you isn't it! We thought we'd lost you for a few minutes. Lead foot my ass. That's not where you got your lead foot but it's where you got your house.

Ahhhhh going 20mph over on every street is a smart thing  . I got out of the "speed my ass off on every street" gang a while back. I think you've ridden with me enough to know what the car's been through. And wasn't it you that compared your mechanic's driving style to mine, saying "you don't need to SLAM the gears so hard!  ". Ahh you haven't even driven the 3L hard enough to break that piece of glass in your tranny, known as the "stock differential" . Once you blow a motor, have 2 tranny rebuilds, 2 clutches, 4 motor mounts, a shifter, a shift cable and a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff break from hard driving, then we'll talk.  Granny!  Mark

Heh, beginners, I went through a full tank in 80 miles! Of course they were all road course miles, but still even just running around I'm only getting a couple hundred from a tank, I know mine is runnning pig rich.

I get about 250 miles per tank and every trip is a series of 0-100mph time trials & city driving. (oops better make this post legal) Make that 0-65mph time trials. Still takes under 6 seconds though.
