I don't know why, but I think Matt's car looks real good with it... Dan's just doesn't seem right though. I think it's cause Matt's got those 18's slammed up in the wheel wells and it really does look alot like the touring cars you see on Speedvision. I know if I saw him coming, I'd let him pass...

I have the Touring Wing on my SVT... here are some pics.. and no.. it doesn't sit even close to as high as it looks in the first pic..
Disregard the Cougar at the bottom... It smiled at the wrong Racoon.. and was in turn taken out by it..

SVT_Nate,

Hey man, I see you've got PA plates on there. What part of PA you in? I'm originally from the Lancaster/H-Burg area myself, but I subcontracted to the State Police and have been all over that god-forsaken state. Also, the mesh in the lower bumper on that Cougar, is that custom?

Yes, the mesh is custom... That is Dirk Diggie's.. he's a member of the Cougar board.. we did the mesh on his at the same time as the mess on mine front and rear. I'm up in Coudersport, PA. .. better known as the middle BFE..

SVT_Nate,

Believe it or not, I know where Coudersport is (I think I went through it once...)

What did you use to attach the mesh in the bumper. I was looking to do something similar on my 'Tour, but wasn't sure how to attach it semi-cleanly. Whatever you have on there looks alright to me, and I could live with it on my 'Tour.

Thanks in advance.

nexusheli,
I used gutter guard that is normally used to keep leaves out of gutters. For the top front I melted down the plastic rivets and pulled the chrome from around the grill.. applied the gutter guard bending the edges over the edge of the grill insert.. then I put the chrome grill back on and melted down the rivets. For the bottom there are clips that need to be removed from the backside.. then the guard can be installed and the clips but back on, bending over the edges just like on the top grill... For the back the same was done as on the front. It only took about 45 minutes...
