For future reference,
NEVER EVER pull the positive cable unless the negative cable has first been disconnected! That's an easy way to fry some electronics.
ALWAYS pull the negative cable FIRST!!
When done engine work,
ALWAYS connect the negative cable LAST! - just before you fire up the car.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
