Well, as a computer tech what would be a good way to turn off the computer... Disconnect the power supply.
Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and let it sit for 5 minutes or so. That will reset the pcm. Reconnect the battery and start it up, and hopefully the check engine light wont come back.
