Well if you are, my buddy works at a tinting company in Redford and he'll get all 5 of your doors for $150. Not bad, seeing as other big places like Notorious Tintz charge $180. It's $30 cheaper, may not seem like alot but you guys know it is. If you're interested just shoot me a PM or reply to this post if you want more information. And yes, it does come with a warranty, of course.

Also, they can do pretty much anything else you want done to your cars.. body work, engine work, and alot more stuff. I can get you guys a good deal on stuff as well.

All 5 doors?? What kind of contour you driving??? 
I'll assume you meant the rear window.
Prices are not all THAT great(I paid 180.00 from auto One, and they use some of the best material in the world, the guys are cool as hell, 5 year warranty on ANYTHING (I scratch it, they replace it), and they will take it off and reapply it if you get caught for $10 bucks.
Alot of us like to hear things about warranty, material used, available tint percentage.. care to elaborate?????

I have som?'s abotu it. I currently have 50% all around... would liek to go to 30% all around, cept for the window... I'd like to have a solar type film put on (liek they used to put onthe caterra. Get soem info for me... see where that stands. Can he apply tint over exisiting tint? Some shops do... some dont.  Also, what is his removal charge.

Have the tint removed, if you double up it may cause problems down the road, usually removal is like $40 around here, or if you're lucky it's free if you're having them apply new tint.

YEah, I know that. I wanted to see what the "professional says". On numerous occasions, I've heard of shops adding to tint to darken it.... big no no in my book.  EX. My friend went from 30% to 5%.. said he wanted it removed and darker added. He got his car back that evening and after looking at it.. they applyed another layer of tint on top of the old. We went back there and they said that some shops do this.... others don't.

Why are you being an ass about this? It's not like this is a random guy, he actually owns his own business. It's not some random teenager who's going to screw you over or anything, he actually IS a professional. I'm just trying to help out people who may want their windows done. If you want to see some of his work, go down Telegraph south of 5 mile and visit the Limo renting place on your lefthand side, I don't know the name of it, but he does all their work.

hmmm...
i'm thinking that calling people names is going to help your buddy out a bunch.
he was basically trying to feel you/your friend out to see what kind of potential work he does. and considering you're the only one who knows him, and none of us know you, i'd say he's a pretty damm random guy. 
my suggestion (before this thing gets padlocked) is to reel in the attitude a little. we're pretty protective of our own here, and he's just being cautious.
