The Hyperbright system runs the high side of the signal lamps like the DRL system on Chevy Venture minivans. It's to "show off" your Superwhite bulbs. It allows full function of the turn signal lamps, too.
This system is similar to the Hyperbright but is actually a turn signal DRL system. It could easily be modified to be like the Hyperbright system for about 1/2 the price of the Hiperbright by wiring the disable circuit from the park lamps to a separate switch or something.
