If that is your problem, and its not the actual drive cable that turns the electronic end its not that difficult. I suspect it to be the sensor end myself. Mine was a 95 Mystique...cable into a eletronic sensor, dont know if yours is the same.
Nope 95's were the only year that were cable driven. His 00 is going to be different.
