Its time for an exhaust upgrade as the bumper for the svt looks retarded with a pipe coming out of only one side. What I want to do is go as cheap as possible and get a little sound out of the deal as well. What i have in mind is running the SVT exhaust set up, getting a high-flow cat and 1 magnaflow muffler right before the Y pipe then just getting a couple of tips for the ends of the pipes and getting rid of the resonator.

In particular I was thinking of either the 5x8" Aluminized or the 6" round aluminized from justmagnaflow.com.

I'm going to go 2.5" on everything thats changing.

Good or bad idea?
What do you suppose it will sound like?

It sounds like fun to me. How are you making a 2.5 inch exahust? Are you shopping it? or are you going to buy the piping and make it yourself?

A buddy of mine works at tuffy, he said he'd run the pipe for me when i was ready to get everything done. I've seen his work so i'm not too concerned with the look/durability of it, just how its going to sound mainly. I don't want to sound like a big fart.

FAAAAARRRRRRRRRTTTTTT

Just playing, it would probably sound like an SVT exhaust with some magnaflow mufflers. Should sound alright.

I've got a 5x8 magnaflow in the resonator spot with an SVT exhaust. Think I'll make a vid of my busted-azz vehicle for ya... PM me with your e-mail addy & I'll send it along.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
