ok so there are not any harness in the vehicle at all??? in other words... did they cut the adapter harness or did they cut the factory harness??
If you dont see any harnesses and just see bare wire then in order to put the car back to pre-loss condition your going to need

to replace the factory harness. You will connect that to the bare wires... then connect the adapter you listed to it and wire it to your sony harness.
