And they screwed my whole wiring up..Its no big deal cause I just got my Sony M8850mp the day after it happened. But the problem now is that they cut off my wiring harness so I can't do things the easy way. And I don't wanna pay some guy 50 bucks to do things wire for wire so I figure I'll use the internet to help me out.

Is This the harness that comes in our cars? I have a 98 SE.
TIA

PS. Also since they pretty much just ripped everything from my dash I also noticed that I blew a few fuses (probably from wires touching). So I taped them off as to not mess anything more up...but my next question is simple..but I'm kinda lazy so I'll mooch off your collective knowledge. Where can I get the fuses?

Invest in a paging alarm and a baseball bat... I spent 750CAD on my alarm... it's amazing and over priced, but the install is flawless... all wrapped, soldered and heatshrunk. Ever connection.

Anyways, sorry to hear about it... there is a plate that by buddies and I are working on, that blocks the assembly... cant get in with a slim jim... breaking the window is one of the only ways...

Popping the locks is the most common way of breaking into a tour or any vehicle with plastic lock housing. Might want to take that into consideration. (I worked in the theft investigation biz)

I am getting handles shaved this summer... so that is out of the question.

Thanks for the input though. I know my old car got robed by popping off the trunk lock... I was so pissed.

Anywayz, is that the harness that comes in our cars? If so I can just buy that and sodder together the wires to that harness then hook into my Sony harness.

sorry about the thread jack...
ok so there are not any harness in the vehicle at all??? in other words... did they cut the adapter harness or did they cut the factory harness??
If you dont see any harnesses and just see bare wire then in order to put the car back to pre-loss condition your going to need 71-1770

to replace the factory harness. You will connect that to the bare wires... then connect the adapter you listed to it and wire it to your sony harness.
make sense?

you can find the fuses at any electrical store... up in ye ol' Canada, Canadian Tire is the easiest place to find fuses.
