What about the sunroof? I'd like to have that feature for the sunroof. I'm sick of press and hold the sunroof when it starts raining when I'm curising 100mph down the thruway.

It does say it's for sunroofs/moonroofs as well.....

I don't think you guys would be willing to cut into the window wiring. You literally have to cut all the wires between switch and motors and wire the module in series between them. A high current supply must then go to the module itself. Had a similar one in my old car. Lots' of electrical work involved, but it does work the way it is supposed to. They are also easily integrateable into alarm systems or keyless entry. Remote up or down. Another neat feature is you can set it up so that the windows will work without the key if door is open, or if key is in radio position. Kind of anoying how are cars must be swithched to the ignition position to operate the windows.

Aha! I knew there had to be a catch.

Oh well, I've tapped into the wiring before installing keyless and alarm. I dunno about having to go to each door and do it, but all I want it for is the moonroof.

Does anyone know if the window motors run off the switch? AFAIK, the moonroof motor has a relay...

Guys,

I currently have a VIPER Alarm system installed in my SVT. Could I add this to my system. And on simple question, all this unit does is make all your windows behave in the manner the drivers side already does, correct?

Thanks,

Justin

If it is a four window module you would have auto down(and up most likely) on all four windows. Most units also have the capability for two additional input which could come from an alarm. This would trigger either all windows up or down.

All depends on the window module.
The best would be a four window module with two remote inputs with auto up and down.
