I can't help you with your horn but I have an alternative.

Step 1. Wind down your window
Step 2. Use the finger.
Step 3. Reinforce Step 2 by yelling profanities.
Step 4. Repeat Step 2 and 3 if necessary.


I found that it works better than the honk from experience.
