Josh, I did ask him about that in my email.. Unfortunately, their hands are so full with the Corvettes, Hummers, and CTS-V's that they haven't really invested any time in the Ford platform.. He did link me to a website of a local guy that does come out and do tuning for some of the Ford guys in the area.. I could shoot him an email and see if he'd like to come out to the event.. Let me know if that'd help..

Oh crap I forgot about having the 112 speed cap....is that going to be a problem?
I would like to be able to have my car tuned since we have the time....what can I get to do that? Is the only option the SAFC?

Dyno pulls are made in 4th gear. I don't believe 4th gear gets past 112 mph.

If you have a 2000, you can use the TwEECer unit. Other than that, I'm not sure if the new SCT package will work for all years or not.

Thanks for the info Y2K. I have an ATX so Would I just do the dyno in 3rd or would I use OD aswell?
Also mine is a 98.5 so the SAFC is the only option for tuning, I assume.

You won't have anything to worry about. Phil, the President of Dynotech Engineering will be driving the car while it's on the dyno. You just let him know what rpm you want him to cut out at, and he does all the work. I would assume the SAFC is the only way to do your own tuning, unless you were to have your car dyno tuned, you should be able to find someone with the software to tune your car. I would imagine Jerry w/ Superchips could probably tune it, but he won't be at Spring Zing . Mark

Is that why the dyno is being offered at such a low price? because the tech will be doing all the driving and not each car's owner?

No, that's how almost all dyno operators do it. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Originally posted by frenchblueC2: Is that why the dyno is being offered at such a low price? because the tech will be doing all the driving and not each car's owner?
