definatley chromed..... as u can see every little bit of the runners are shiny....when u polish sumthin with crevices etc... then the harder/tight spots to get to are always a duller polish than the surface areas

The Easwood company used to offer a kit for polishing intakes. I looked them up on the web and couldn't find that kit, but they do have polishing materials. I liked the kit cause it had all the polishing pastes and little attachments for your drill/dremel that you would need. They may still offer it but I didn't see it on thier website. Oh and by the way isn't his cool red coolant a little full in the resivouir there??? Ted '95 SE,Duratec,MTX

I know this is almost a year old topic, but I have been thinking about it again. I found the intake polishing kit on Eastwoods website. It is $55 though. Anybody know a place around Cleveland to get this done cheap? I called a guy in Strongsville that said he charges anywhere from $120 to $200. I would probably be willing to pay $120 instead of paying $55 for the kit and putting the time into it, but I have a feeling it would be closer to $200.

I polished just the intake runners on my car. have about 25 hrs of hand sanding to get it that far. Current Projects I am in the process of purchasing alot of tools to do work like this including a poweder coating system, and have also purchased a sand blasting cabinet. Next up will be a polishing kit. I plan on doing my whole manifold and then powdercoating it with eastwood's almost chrome powdercoat finish
