I just had an interview for a positsion in a factory as a Die Setter... (basically punching parts) I start out at $8.50 and hour and work 10 hour shifts 5 days a week, then after 90 days I get bumped up to $9.00. The best part is that I get full benefits, I pay half on dental, and I get disability. I just felt like posting this because I am just excited to have a full time job, and move out of places like k-mart which i am at untill two weeks from yesterday, and that i am finally going to make money, and pay my dad the rest of the money i owe him on the camaro!

not to be a dick but $9/hr isn't exactly great news.....maybe cost of living in MI. is less than ohio...

I'm not really boasting about the wage... I am just happy to have a full time job with benifits. Seing as that my dads insurance droped me off their policy, even though i am a full time student. The whole cost of living thing dosent really apply to me because I still live with my parents. Also the whole pay thing is a big jump up from $6.50 an hour working like 30 hours every two weeks. So i went from $250 max every two weeks to approx $400 a week. It may not be much to most people, but for me its more than i have ever had.

Its on 26 mile rd aka marine city highway. Its about halfway between Richmond and St. Clair, its called Manter Tech. The building is located by a small airstrip that the owners of this buisness own.

I pass that every time I go to my Dads house. He lives in East China, just 10 minutes from there.
