Battlefield Earth.
It confirmed my eternal belief in the existance of God. How?
1) It takes talent borrowed directly from The Almighty to create such a pinnacle of cinematic refuse. Nothing else makes sense. Mere mortals are incapable of creating a catastrophe on so many levels. I firmly believe it just isn't humanly possible. This is a movie that Ed Wood couldn't have made even if he had Jan de Bont's help (Twister), it's so damn bad.
2) It also takes divine intervention to keep any audience witnessing it from taking their car-keys out of their pockets or purses and attempting to slit their throats. Given that no mass suicides were reported during the viewings of this show, it again compounds my fervent belief that The Almighty was involved.
I seriously can't think of any other movie that's worse.

Heh... I liked that one, true was a dumb plot, but IMO the british humor made up for it.
