I did say that I am planning on doing engine upgrades in the future. No I have not done any yet but I have broken the diff in my CSVT and am rebuilding the tranny and figured now was the best time to do anything I might want to have in the future not wanting to have to open it back up again.

If a zetec engine can handle the higher drive ratio I am sure that a duratec can also.

Even if the numbers are only half of the savings that I calculated I am still saving enough to pay for the change in a year, if I was able to get the parts for their original cost.

Well thanks for all of your thoughts. I usually think that my ideas will work no matter what other say. sometimes I am right sometimes I am wrong.
