It was said to be unconstitutional becuase it only applied to in state drivers. The judge said that in order for the law to be valid it must apply to all drivers. It had nothing to do with the actual tinting of the windows.

Ya . I think im just going to remove the front and passanger for now...and try to do it myself. Then show the cops. Ill keep the work order in case I get stopped again in PA so i can show that it only said to "remove from front driver and passanger". Ill keep the tint on the back doors and back windows till I move then get it taken off and put on some 35% all the way around since its legal down there.

I hear LA Tint is good in MD anyone know if this is true?

Also for me to keep the tint if i move back to PA do I have to get a MD plate? My PA inspection is up on 8/05 so does that mean I have to get it done in MD and then I get an MD plate? Can I keep this plate forever (since you only need to inspect your car once in MD) in order to keep my tint?

Thanks

-Justin

add to the tally. Got pulled over again for my tint today...TWICE. The first cop pulled me over...you know flashing lights the whole nine. He was a D!CK. You could tell he was out to bust my balls as hard as he cld w/ this, fine and all. Just when we was about to go back to his car to write m out a fine i go "oh by the way would you like to see my work order". So i show him he says "wow 10 days, that was pretty nice of him", i just laughed at him and said "yea". 2nd cop pulled beside me when I was getting into my car after my workout at Bally's. he was cool as hell. He didnt even care. He said "you know honostly I could care less about this..but there are cops on the force that wil hassle you about it". Ya I found that out alright...anyway time to remove.

well i got to thinking. since Im going to be moving to MD in 2 weeks I thought..whjat if i talk to the officer and ask if me relocating could cancer out the work order since I will no longer be living in PA. He said "as long as you have proof then make a copy of it and drop it off at the station and we'll call it even". So in the end the tint stays on for one more day!

Now the problem is to not get cought by another cop after this work order period ends and before the actual drive to MD (which is about a week after work order period). Looks like the SVT will be sitting in the driveway for a week then making the mad dash South

Simple.. pay the fine and don't get it fixed.
Don't drive the car around until the day you
are leaving for another state.

Or.... you could get electronically adjustable tinting.
