My main concern is the timing of the event, I wont be working until this summer, (a week before sz). A couple weeks in I will be fine, but the timing of the event is really working against me.
If somebody wants to cover hotel and registration for me for two weeks I would not refuse.
In all it looks like this is going to be an unforgettable event, and it would kill me if my funds do not work out.
