Well, I got the new subframe and installed it last night. Not too hard...sprayed the bolts down a few days in advance and most came out pretty easily. Bolted the new one in with the BAT 21mm sway bar and Energy Suspension bushings. Tightened everything, had it aligned, took it for a test drive and....NO MORE CLUNKING!!!!
The rear is quiet as a mouse. Now I love the car just that much more. It makes driving so much more pleasurable! Thanks Thinkmoto for the write-up. It was very useful and the job wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. It is helpful to have two people to reinstall everything.
