Hi all, fantastic site you have going here. I have been an SVT owner for a little over two weeks, and I love the car. However, I don't love the clunking from the rear. Now, having said that, be easy on me cause I am a newbie. I did replace the rear sway bar with the 21mm BAT version. I used the bushings that came with the bar and reused the factory (read: crappy) brackets on the subframe. I replaced the endlinks at the same time. I knew the clunking wouldn't go away as long as the brackets remained stock, so seeing as how I don't know the first thing about welding new brackets onto the existing subframe, I decided it would be easier to replace the rear subframe with one from ATI (ordered through BAT) that comes with new mounting brackets for the sway bar. I also have the Energy Suspension bushings (the big mama-jama's) that I will be installing. So my question is this: how hard is it to remove the rear subframe? Is there anything I should look out for? Any tricks to make the job easier/quicker? Any help you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated, as I will be tackling this next weekend. I can't wait!! Hopefully no more clunk WOO-HOO!! Thanks enveryone!
